The success of any production campus will always depend heavily on executing a vigorous and sustained global marketing campaign to educate the feature film, television, music video, videogame, and advertising community about the benefits of bringing their productions to the complex.

This strategic imperative includes multiple tactics, all of which are designed and implemented by a small team of EDP executives working in close partnership with the owner/operator’s management and/or appropriate government agencies.  Among the tactics executed include:

  • Identification of the most cost-effect advertising and promotion platforms that will reach prime influencers and opinion-makers in the global entertainment industry.
  • Access EDP’s Hollywood, European, Asian, and South American networks to market the campus to top production decision-makers; and, if so requested, negotiate/package deals to base their productions, either in part or in full, at the campus.
  • Select and train the most marketable local producers, directors and performing artists to serve as “ambassadors-at-large” at all major film festivals, American Film Market, MIPCOM, trade shows, and award ceremonies.
  • Upgrade the local area film commission’s staffing, website, and marketing and recommend when and where to open satellite offices in Hollywood, North America, Europe, and Asia to forge cross-border partnerships.
